CentraleSupelec is an engineering school that was established in the year 2015 and was created as a result of merging the two grandes Ăcoles called Ecole Centrale Paris and Supelec. They have three campuses under them which are Rennes Campus, Paris-Saclay Campus, and Metz Campus. These campuses excel in the fields of Computer Science, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Engineering, and Physics.

The Engineering program offered here focuses on common core courses like IT sciences, energy, systems, economics, social sciences, and other elective classes in the 1st and 2nd years. The 3rd year lets candidates consolidate the knowledge they have acquired over the years by letting them choose a major and minor. Candidates will also have to spend a semester abroad for international experience and work in a company or laboratory. They will have projects like the standard project, synthesis project, software development project, design project, long project, etc. which has to be completed during the course.

This is a university that was established in the year 1339 and has a population of 60,000 students making it the third-largest university in the country. The university offers graduate degrees and post-master degrees to candidates for different fields of study. The duration of the Master’s program is between 2 to 3 years depending on the chosen program. Grenoble Institute of Technology

This university was established in the year 1900 and has 8 engineering and management schools under it. They offer candidates with 28 Master’s degrees in Engineering through their 6 graduate schools. They offer a 2-year preparatory program from which most candidates will be chosen for their engineering programs. The programs they offer have a duration of 3 years with 6 semesters in all. This public university was established recently in the year 2018 by merging Paris-Sorbonne University and Pierre et Marie Curie University. Universite de Lorraine

This university was established in the year 2012 by merging Henri Poincare University, Nancy 2 University, Paul Verlaine University, and the National Polytechnic Institute of Lorraine. Their engineering schools have over 40,000 students. The duration of the courses they provide is 3 years. Candidates are required to spend a minimum of 3 months during the duration of their study. National Institute for Applied Sciences-Lyon

The National Institute for Applied Sciences, also known as the Institut National des Sciences Appliquees de Lyon/INSA Lyon, was established in the year 1957 and has a student population of 6,300 students. The duration of all engineering programs they offer is 5 years which is equivalent to a master’s degree elsewhere. Candidates will be able to take up a doctoral degree after the program.

The 5-year program includes 2 years of general content after which candidates will be able to learn from 9 different fields of study under engineering during the master’s part of the course (final 3 years). This university was established in the year 1559 and reestablished again in 2018. It has over 74,000 students studying under different programs. MINES ParisTech-PSL

This school was established in 2012 with the merge of Mines ParisTech and PSL offering graduate and post-graduate education to all students. They have over 18 research centers and have the best research partnerships. They offer a Master in Science and Executive Engineering program which is a Diplome d’Ingenieur program. This engineering school was established in the year 1969 and has around 1300 students. The Polytech Montpellier is a school under the University of Montpellier offering 6 engineering programs. The school has a preparatory course for two years which candidates can do after their baccalaureate for Engineering Sciences and Technologies. Further education in engineering involves these programs which take 3 years. The fee for non-scholarship students is taken as a registration fee of €601 since it is a public university. Candidates who have scholarships will be able to study without a tuition fee.

Universite Paul Sabatier Toulouse III

This public university was established in the year 1969 and contains over 30,000 students in all. They offer bachelor’s, master's, and research programs in different fields including Engineering Sciences. They provide training programs for engineering at different levels where the bachelor’s program has a duration of 3 years and the master’s program has a duration of 2 years.
